Who we are
NetWorthNow is a personal finance tracking application built for iOS and Android. It is developed and maintained as an independent product.

Data we collect
We collect no personal data.
NetWorthNow does not require you to create an account. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information.
All financial data you enter into the app — including asset values, liability balances, goals, and net worth history — is stored exclusively on your device using your device's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server operated by us or any third party.
In plain English: We have no servers storing your financial data. We cannot see it, access it, or lose it in a data breach. It exists only on your phone.
Third-party services
NetWorthNow uses one external service:
CoinGecko API — used to fetch live cryptocurrency prices. When you add a cryptocurrency asset, the app sends a request to CoinGecko's public API containing only the coin identifier (e.g. "bitcoin" or "ethereum"). Your wallet balance, quantity held, or any other financial information is never sent to CoinGecko.

For stock price lookups, the app may use publicly available market data APIs. No personal or financial information is transmitted in these requests.
We do not use:
- Analytics or tracking tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Advertising networks or tracking pixels
- Crash reporting services that transmit personal data
- Social media SDKs
- Any service that receives your financial data
Device permissions
NetWorthNow may request the following device permissions:
Face ID / Touch ID / Biometrics — used to lock the app when you leave and require authentication to unlock. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's operating system and is never accessed or stored by the app.
Photo library — requested only if you choose to save a milestone sharecard image to your camera roll. We do not access or read any photos from your library.
No other permissions are required.
Data security
Because all your data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security measures — screen lock, Face ID, device encryption, and so on.
We strongly recommend enabling Face ID or Touch ID within the NetWorthNow app settings for an additional layer of protection.
If your device is lost or stolen, your financial data within NetWorthNow is protected by your device's lock screen. Deleting the app from a device will permanently remove all associated data.
Children's privacy
NetWorthNow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are under 13, please do not use this app.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you.
Because we hold no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. All your data is on your device and is entirely within your control.
To delete all data associated with NetWorthNow, simply delete the app from your device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
We will notify users of significant changes through an in-app notice.
